After 3 very challenging days, the installation work of a 5kW Pico Hydro system has been successfully completed, providing power for 18 houses in Kg Mindohoun, Ranau. Additionally, 5 houses located far away have been equipped with solar power.
We are incredibly grateful for the amazing village leader, the wonderful cooking team who prepare delicious meals for us every day, and of course, the delicious durians!
This mission was achieved with the help of 10 volunteers and the Lightup Borneo team. A big thanks to ceramic artist Hannah Bhatt for generously donating funds for this project and Mrs Chew, Mr Yong, Dr Fuad, Dahlan Dahari for Solar.
